Every branch in Rool has its own dedicated page where you can see everything related to that location in one place -- its details, posts, media library, social connections, and team members.
Opening a Branch
There are two ways to get to a branch's page:
From the sidebar -- Expand the Branches section in the left sidebar to see a quick-access list of your branches. Click any branch name to open it.
From the Branches list -- Go to the main Branches page and click on the branch you want to view.
Tip: If your organization has more than five branches, the sidebar shows the first five along with a "View all" link at the bottom. You can also use the search box at the top of the sidebar's branch list to find a specific branch quickly.
Branch Page Overview
When you open a branch, you land on a detail page with the branch name, its status badge (e.g., Active or Inactive), and any tags assigned to it. The page is organized into three tabs: Overview, Library, and Posts.
Overview Tab
The Overview tab gives you a snapshot of the branch:
Branch Information -- Location address and timezone for this branch.
Tags -- Any organizational tags applied to the branch.
Team Members -- The users assigned to manage this branch, along with their roles. If you have edit permissions, you can click Add Team Member to assign someone new.
Social Connections -- The social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) connected to this branch. You can connect new profiles or manage existing ones from here.
Library Tab
The Library tab is a media library scoped to this branch. It shows both branch-specific assets and organization-wide assets (marked with an "Org" badge so you can tell them apart).
From this tab you can:
Upload new images or files by clicking the Upload button.
Create folders to keep your assets organized using the New Folder button.
Browse folders using the breadcrumb navigation at the top of the library.
Click any asset to open it in a detail view where you can see its full information.
Delete assets or folders you no longer need.
Posts Tab
The Posts tab lists every post that targets this branch. Each post card shows:
The post's status (Draft, Pending Approval, Scheduled, Published, etc.)
The caption text -- if the post has a branch-specific caption, that version is displayed along with the original
How many accounts the post targets and when it was created or scheduled
You can filter the list by status using the Status dropdown at the top. To create a new post for this branch, click the New Post button.
Switching Between Branches
Rool gives you two ways to move between branches without going back to the branches list:
Sidebar Navigation
Each branch in the sidebar has an expand arrow. Click it to reveal sub-navigation links for that branch:
Posts -- Jump directly to the branch's posts tab.
Calendar -- Open the branch calendar view.
Library -- Open the branch media library.
Settings -- Open branch settings.
Click a different branch name in the sidebar to switch branches instantly.
Branch Switcher (Global Filter)
The Branch Switcher in the header toolbar lets you filter app-wide views (like the main posts list or calendar) to show content for a single branch.
To use it:
Click the branch switcher dropdown in the header area. It defaults to showing "All Branches."
Search for a branch by name or scroll through the list.
Select a branch to filter your current view to that branch only.
A "Viewing: [branch name]" badge appears to remind you a filter is active.
To clear the filter and see all branches again, click the X on the badge or select "All Branches" from the dropdown.
Note: The branch switcher acts as a global filter. When you select a branch, views across the app (posts, calendar, etc.) automatically update to show only that branch's content. The filter persists as you navigate between pages until you clear it.
Editing and Deleting a Branch
If you have the right permissions, you will see action buttons at the top of the branch page:
Edit (available to Admins and Editors) -- Opens a dialog where you can update the branch name, location, timezone, and other details.
Delete (available to Admins only) -- Soft-deletes the branch. The branch and its data are hidden but can be recovered by an administrator.
