Using the Calendar View

The Calendar page gives you a visual overview of all your scheduled, approved, published, and pending posts across your branches. It helps you spot gaps in your content schedule, see what is coming up, and quickly navigate to any post for more details.

To open the calendar, click Calendar in the left sidebar under your organization.

Switching Between Week and Month Views

The calendar offers two views. Use the toggle in the top-right corner of the filter toolbar to switch between them:

  • Week -- The default view. Displays a grid with your branches listed down the left side and seven day columns across the top. Each post appears as a color-coded block in the cell where its branch and scheduled day intersect.

  • Month -- Displays a traditional monthly calendar grid. Each day cell shows small color-coded badges with counts that summarize how many posts fall into each status category on that day.

Both views share the same navigation controls, located at the top of the calendar card:

  • Click the left arrow to move to the previous week or month.

  • Click the right arrow to move to the next week or month.

  • Click Today to jump back to the current week or month.

The header displays the current date range (for example, "March 16 - 22 2026" in Week view, or "March 2026" in Month view). Today's date is highlighted so you can orient yourself quickly.

Understanding the Week View

In Week view, each row represents one of your branches (locations). The seven columns represent the days of the week. Posts appear as small blocks inside the grid cells, showing:

  • The scheduled time of the post.

  • Platform icons (Facebook, Instagram) indicating where the post will be published.

  • A background color that reflects the post's current status (see the color legend below).

Only branches that have at least one post during the visible week are shown, keeping the view clean and focused.

Viewing Post Details

Click any post block in the Week view to open a slide-over panel on the right side of the screen. The panel shows:

  • The post's status (for example, Scheduled, Published, Pending Approval).

  • The scheduled date and time.

  • A preview of the post as it will appear on each platform, including the caption and media.

  • The target accounts and platforms the post is assigned to.

At the bottom of the panel, click View Full Details to navigate to the full post detail page where you can edit, approve, or manage the post.

Understanding the Month View

In Month view, each day cell displays small colored badges with numbers. Each badge represents a status category, and the number tells you how many posts are in that status on that day. Days outside the current month appear dimmed.

Clicking a Badge

Click any colored badge on a day to navigate to a filtered list of posts for that specific date and status. For example, clicking a green "Scheduled" badge on March 20 takes you to the Posts page filtered to show only scheduled posts for that day.

If you click a blue "Requested" badge, you will be taken to the Requests page filtered to that date instead.

Color Legend

A color legend appears below the calendar in both views. The colors represent:

Color

Status

Meaning

Light green

Published

The post has been published successfully.

Dark green

Scheduled

The post is confirmed and scheduled for publishing (includes Approved posts).

Orange

For Approval

The post is waiting for someone to review and approve it.

Light red

Sent for Amends

Changes have been requested on the post.

Blue

Requested

A content request with a due date on that day (Month view only).

Filtering the Calendar

The filter toolbar at the top of the page lets you narrow down what the calendar displays. All filters apply to both Week and Month views.

Branch Filter

Click the Branch filter to select one or more specific branches. Only posts targeting the selected branches will appear.

Status Filter

Click the Status filter to choose which post statuses to display. Options include Scheduled, Approved, Published, Pending Approval, and Changes Requested. You can select multiple statuses at once.

Platform Filter

Use the Platform dropdown to show only posts targeting a specific platform -- Facebook or Instagram. Select All Platforms to remove this filter.

Tag Filter

Click the Tag filter to filter by branch tags. You can select multiple tags and choose whether a post must match any of the selected tags or all of them.

Clearing Filters

When one or more filters are active, a Clear filters button appears in the toolbar. Click it to reset all filters at once. The event count to the left of the view toggle updates in real time to reflect how many posts match your current filters.

Tips

  • Use the Month view for a high-level overview of your content calendar, then switch to Week view when you need to see exactly which posts are going out for each branch on each day.

  • Combine the Branch and Status filters to quickly find posts that need attention -- for example, filter to a specific branch and the "Pending Approval" status.

  • Your filter selections and current view are saved in the URL, so you can bookmark or share a filtered calendar view with teammates.
